The MCoR 2019 Regional Convention
June 20 - 23, 2019
Website Updates - May:
There were several updates done to the website recently. Two more Clinics were added to Saturday, filling all clinic spots on Friday and Saturday. MMR, Dave Roeder will present clinics on custom decaling and building passenger cars and cabooses. Both on Saturday morning. Besides adding Mr Roeders's clinics to the "SCHEDULE" page, a link was added on the Hunterline Make It 'n Take It clinic on Friday evening. The form gives info on the clinic, and tools you need to build the bridge.
The "CONTEST ROOM" tab has been added. Not only does it give the open hours of the room, it also gives the rules for submission into the competition.
We updated the Registration form to include the excursion; The History of Railroading in Wichita, the price is $35.00.
May 28th is the last day to guarantee the special convention rate. If you stay at the Doubletree, it includes breakfast. They have even given us a 3-day period pre, or post Convention where you can stay and still get the special convention rate.
Finally: Tickets for Saturday Nights Silent Auction are going to be available during the entire Convention at the Registration Site.

Website Updates - April - #2:
New to the website: More clinics have been added, and the synopsis of all current clinics are posted under the "CLINICS" tab. The "SCHEDULE" page has been updated, and now shows the clinic times, presenters, and subjects, as well as an electronic schedule of the Convention and Train Show.
If you look below the rotating photos on the main page, you will see a short list of Important Dates...please keep an eye out for changes all over the website as convention time gets closer.
Coming up: A new tab that will focus on the Contest Room.

Website Updates - April:
Now on the website. Several tabs have been added or updated in the recent weeks, here is a brief overview:
A list of the clinics to date and a brief synopsis awaits those who click on the "CLINICS" tab. Don't fear, more clinics are expected to be announced after Easter. Also new is the "SCHEDULE" tab. It is a look at the framework of the 69th MCoR Regional Convention. Checking our Social Media site regularly will keep you abreast of whats new and important dates.
SWAG SALE:
We are having a Pre-Convention sale on our T-shirts and Polo shirts with the Official Convention logo on the left breast area. Sizes small thru x-large are both reduced $5.00. 2X t's are an additional $2.00, 3X, add $4.00. The Polos are $3.00 extra for 2X, $6.00 for 3X. Remember, all Swag orders will be delivered at Registration, if ordered before June 1st. Swag ordered after June 1st may have to be shipped post-Convention.
So order soon.

Website Updates:
Two more buttons have appeared in the left column in the most recent Updates. First, the 'EXCURSION" button. Clicking on it will take you to a brief overview of the Excursion planned for the Convention. For only $35.00, take a guided tour aptly named "The History of Railroading in Wichita"
The second button takes you to our "Social Media" pages. Friend us on facebook, and follow us on the Convention's Twitter account.

More Website Updates:
There have been more updates to the website and its contents. Two new buttons have made their way to the left column of the website. First, the "STORE" button: Still under construction, but by clicking the "STORE" button, you will be able to see a current list of Convention-related items for sale. The second new button is the "OP SESSION" button. This button takes you to the page about Friday the 21st's operating session at the Augusta Model Railroad Club. Better hurry though, only 12 Convention Attendees will be able to run on the Wichita & Ark Valley Model Railroad layout.
Finally, the Convention Train Show flyer has been posted in pdf form. To find the flyer, click on the "TRAIN SHOW" button, on the left, the, choose "SHOW INFO" to read and download the flyer if desired. Vendors, click on "VENDOR" to download a vendor application. Upcoming: Excursion Clinic, and preliminary Schedule pages.

Hotel Info:
Limited time left to register at the special "Convention Rate". You must ca&ll the Hotel direct @ (316) 945-5272 to make your reservations. Breakfast Buffett is included at no charge with your paid room. For more info about the Doubltree Hotel, click on the "HOTEL" tab on the left margin of the website.
Website Updates:
There have been more updates to the website and its contents. The new "Sponsors" tab is up and linked to our sponsors corporate websites. Also, an "Info" tab has been added to the left side of the pages. Click on it to check on updates, and upcoming updates. Coming Soon: the Store, Iinfo about the Excursions and the Operating Session at Augusta Model Railroad Club.
